Northwood, OH -NAMSA continues to grow its capabilities, this time with the addition
of the STERRAD® 200 GMP Sterilization System to its Sterility Assurance
and Microbiology lab in Northwood Ohio. The addition of this system
enables the lab to offer clients whole cycle exposure, half-cycle
validation and repeat cycles for the evaluation of medical device
compatibility and reusability.
"Our hope is that with the addition of the STERRAD® system, our
clients will be able to come to us for every facet of their
sterilization validation needs," said Michelle Pierce, Manager of
NAMSA’s Northwood Microbiology lab. "Ultimately, we strive to be a part
of their process from start to finish and quicken turnaround times
without compromising the quality that NAMSA has become known for
throughout the medical device industry."
STERRAD®’s low-temperature, hydrogen peroxide gas plasma process
provides for the sterilization of a wide range of medical instruments
including those that are sensitive to heat and moisture exposure. In
addition, the process does not generate toxic residuals.
