NAMSA invites you to join us for this online event as we discussed the many uses of medical claims data. A detailed description will be provided as to what is (and what is not) captured by medical claims data, in addition to similarities and differences that exist between Medicare and Commercial claims. Attendees will also learn about the proper use and selection of ICD 9/10 and CPT/HCPCS, a demonstration of the types of analyses that are available and the insights that can be drawn from their utilization.

Peter Shores is a senior biostatistician in the global department of biostatistics with nearly 10 years of research experience with medical devices in evidence based medicine, post market clinical data registries, and CRO’s. Since joining NAMSA, Peter has supported pre-clinical, post-market and on-going phase 3 FDA regulated clinical trials in the therapeutic areas of Cardiology, Pulmonology, Otolaryngology, Urology, wound care and Nephrology providing statistical consultation for study design , database design , case report forms , writing statistical analysis plans, and executing analyses as described in study protocols.
