Julie Nadeau has over 20 years of experience in the US healthcare industry specifically relating to reimbursement. Her experience includes developing and implementing reimbursement strategies for the U.S. market. She began her career working for one of the largest private payors in the US where she held numerous reimbursement strategy roles. Most recently, Julie served as Director of Reimbursement within the Medtech space, where she helped develop and implement coverage and reimbursement pathways for different product offerings.

Julie is a Certified Professional Coder through the American Academy of Professional Coders and also holds a Certificate in Healthcare Privacy and Security through the American Health Information Management Association. She received her Bachelors in Economics from Southern New Hampshire University (Hooksett, New Hampshire).

  • Creating market access tools, such as billing and coding guides, ROI calculators, educational webinars, coverage maps and pricing analysis for products with new codes
  • Reviewing pre-authorization documentation
  • Creating targeted appeal arguments for audits and denials
  • Monitoring success rates
  • Answering coding questions
