Travis Schaefers is a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) with over 13 years of clinical experience at M Health Fairview Cardiac Cath Lab. He Joined NAMSA in June 2022, bringing his clinical cardiac experience to the preclinical research team at the Minneapolis lab. Mr. Schaefers received his Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology from Saint Cloud Technical College in 2009.

• Interventional procedures such as stenting and ballooning in both coronary and peripheral vessels, arthrectomy and thrombectomy, transseptal access, electrophysiology (EP) cardiac mapping and ablations, pressure wires and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS)

• Percutaneous left atrial closure
• Intra cardiac lead placement
• Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) cannulation
