Title: Toxicological Risk Assessment of Medical Device Extractable Data Subtleties and Solutions

Description: As part of the program to establish the biocompatibility of medical devices, extractable testing, and toxicological risk assessment of the detected constituents is often performed. While ISO 10993-18 and ISO 10993-17 provide guidance on the performance of these activities, questions remain during practical application. This session will describe several challenges we have faced and what we feel are the best practices for overcoming them.
