Speakers

James Kryzanski, MD

Neurosurgeon and Entrepreneur

Dr. Kryzanski is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Tufts Medical Center, where he serves as Director of the Epilepsy Surgery Program and Co-Director of the Spine Surgery Program. He is a Clinical Associate Professor at Tufts Medical School with extensive experience in awake spinal surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and epilepsy treatment. He is co-investigator on several NIH-funded studies totaling over $4 million and holds multiple U.S. patents on subdural electrode technologies.

 

Brian Litt, MD

Neurologist, Innovator and Bioengineer

Dr. Litt is a world-renowned neurologist, bioengineer, and innovator at the University of Pennsylvania. He is recognized for pioneering work in epilepsy, neuroengineering, and medical device development, bridging clinical care, engineering, and translational research. He is co-founder and advisor for multiple medical device startups, including NeuroVista, MC10, Blackfynn, EpilepsyCo, and others. He is also a Principal Investigator on several NIH-funded projects for implantable devices, brain-computer interfaces, and AI-driven diagnostics.

 

Adam Saltman, PhD, MD

Chief Medical Officer at NAMSA

As a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon, Dr. Saltman has more than 25 years’ experience in the management of complex patients with multiple comorbidities. He also worked for 12 years as a Medical Officer at the U.S. FDA Center for Devices and Radiological Health, where he gained a deep understanding of the requirements for successful medical device introductions, as well as quality systems, compliance and benefit-risk evaluations. Before joining NAMSA, Dr. Saltman earned industry experience as the first Chief Medical and Regulatory Officer for two medical device organizations, during which he successfully brought three AI-powered devices through R&D, clinical validation, regulatory approval and market introduction.
