Dr. Barry Bickley is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with over 25 years of clinical experience and a strong track record in medical device innovation. Currently practicing at Mass General Brigham in Haverhill, MA, Dr. Bickley specializes in primary knee and hip replacement surgery, with extensive prior expertise in shoulder and knee arthroscopy.
He is the founder of 62K Solutions, LLC, where he leads the development of cutting-edge orthopedic technologies, including:
- AR/VR applications for surgical planning and training
- A novel device to streamline preoperative site preparation
- “Tourniquet Secure Shorts” – a soon-to-launch product enhancing OR efficiency and patient comfort
Dr. Bickley previously founded VXP Solutions, where he developed a patented modular shoulder prosthesis, and Simplicity Orthopedics, which brought to market an FDA-cleared system to enhance screw fixation in bone.
His career includes service as a U.S. Army orthopedic surgeon and research officer, with deployments at Fort Knox and Camp Humphreys, Korea. He completed his orthopedic residency at Madigan Army Medical Center and earned his MD from New York Medical College, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha.
