Welcome to NAMSA!
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing you with the best possible service and expertise, here is what you can expect next as it relates to NAMSA’s acquisition of WuXi AppTec’s U.S. Medical Device Testing operations, which officially became a part of NAMSA February 28th, 2025.
We understand the importance of continuity, quality and reliability in your experience with us. Our Operations and Quality Teams are joining together to anticipate your needs throughout the transition. We understand the importance of communicating changes as they occur. Our teams are working closely to ensure a smooth integration of processes and systems while ensuring no interruption in service. We assure you that we will take every measure to ensure the high standards you expect from NAMSA and WuXi AppTec remain a cornerstone of this transition.
Are there any changes to WuXi’s QMS?
At present, there is no change in the Quality Management Systems (QMS) at WuXi AppTec’s St. Paul, MN or Marietta, GA facilities. All facilities continue to maintain existing certifications and accreditations. Over the coming months, we will be evaluating and aligning quality assurance processes and will manage QMS changes through our formal Change Control process, including honoring customer notifications committed in your current WuXi AppTec Quality Agreements that apply to the impacted locations.
What about registrations, accreditations, and licenses?
There are no changes to the site registrations, accreditations or licenses at this time. Over the coming months, WuXi AppTec’s US lab sites will be fully integrated and converted to NAMSA, LLC. Registrations, accreditation certificates and license updates will be managed as part of the site integration implementation. These revised documents will be made available for download from NAMSA’s certifications and accreditations page.
How will client change notifications be handled?
Change notification to clients will be managed in a ‘running change’ format, where separate change notification will be issued per applicable Quality Agreement and/or Change Notification requirements.
Have our points of contact changed?
The combined strengths of NAMSA and WuXi AppTec will enhance our offerings while preserving the personal touch you value. Your current points of contact remain unchanged for now; we will notify you directly with any expected changes in customer relationship management. We trust that you will value our collective expertise as it becomes closely networked together.
Is the WuXi branding going away?
You will continue to see the WuXi AppTec brand during Q2 and Q3 2025 with a full transition to NAMSA branding occurring by late summer 2025. These changes will transition across all documentation including proposals, protocols, reports and invoices.
Are my tests going to be delayed?
Our teams are working closely to ensure a smooth integration of processes and systems while ensuring no interruption in service. While the current quality systems and teams remain intact to ensure continuity, your testing and consulting needs will include support from the broader NAMSA organization.
