Test Description

UPLC/MS will separate and identify extracted the heavier nonvolatile compounds.  These types of compounds may come from monomers, antioxidants, stabilizers, etc. that may be used with the materials.  The mass spectra pattern of any peak that is found in the screen will be evaluated either quantitatively by comparison with a reference standard or qualitatively by comparison with a Library.
